We often position ourselves backwards to understand the historical moments.
What do images mean to us from mass media? They are still moving. Facing screens or newspaper, distance between every issue and individual
extract ability of thinking. I can only have in hands the photos, footage
and unforgettable names. Through art creation, I try to illustrate the outline of
history in order to wear down cruelty of bloody scene, or conflict, showing blankness of confusion and compressed impression. In the collage, I cut out the outlines of some important figures
and transcribe the words describing the whole things from Wikipedia on a piece
of glass.
遺留下來的影片依然震撼人心，對著螢幕，那種隔岸觀火的狀態掏空了人的思緒。我只能掌握到那些相片、那些影片及那些不能令人忘記的名字。藉著藝術創作，我希望將那些輪廓都勾勒出來，消磨了血腥的場面，呈現一片混沌的空及概括的印象。
