Travelling from the northwest New Territories to the south of Hong Kong Island, Tang Kwok-hin imagines he is in a swaying cabin on a boat. Arriving in Stanley, he finds tourists from different countries leafing through books full of the flavour of exotic Hong Kong. He walks through small paths beside the Stanley Municipal Services Building and reaches the seashore, where elements from the environment reveal a long forgotten era. Fishing nets, a treasure trove of objects and even an imaginary Treasure Island atlas tell us an old story. Through these artworks in different corners, can we compose new narratives?
